I am proud Trooper of A04. I have received orders for the 1st mission of the year by Supreme Commander Stormy, Operation Bring Beau Home.
I remembered that the first time I have known about Beau's story, was when I first joined the DWB. The video clip of an interview of his mum apealing for help from everyone to help bring Beau home was on the top of DWB Homepage.
This has deeply touched our hearts. We have never met another pet owner who is as committed to their pet as Beau's mum, Susan. Beau has helped Aunty Susan during the toughest time in her life. We could feel how deeply bonded Beau and Aunty Susan are from their story of how and why they have met. I am convinced that they are the perfect match for each other and they need each other to be truly happy.
This is Beau, an English Setter who was STOLEN from HIS OWN HOME on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia on 1 July 2003.
Yes. He was STOLEN! You can imagine what type of people this person must be to be STEALING other people's pet from their yard. Do you think we can trust him/her/them to treat the dog nicely? I greatly doubt so. If they have any respect for us (canines), they wouldn't have taken us away from our home.Beau's mum has been working really hard in trying to locate him and bring him home ever since he was lost. I will need help from everypup or hooman who might be reading this. Please cross post the above poster in any and every where you can. The more attention we get the better.
If you frequent any forum (any type of forum) please create a thread and post this up too and ask everyone from the forum to help us keep a look out for Beau. They might just be the one who could lead us to get some information about Beau. Even if they are not in Australia, they might have friends and relatives there who could help.
If you have found or adopted an English Setter after 1 July 2003, please contact Susan to varify if that is Beau. You dun have to worry about your dog being taken away from you cos if you can prove that Beau is happier to be with you, you can always talk to Aunty Susan and I believe she will understands. At least let Aunty Susan know that Beau is well and happy and that she can visit him from time to time. Even if Beau is in bad shape,**TOUCH WOOD** Please please still let him return home and be nurse back to health with his family members who have love him so dearly around him.
I wish everypup lots of luck in search for Beau. I will need that too! I am having my paws crossed for that Beau is happy and safe all these while.
