Dog Show - 26 Aug 07

Hi Pals,

In my last post, I mentioned that I went to a dog show. Here are some pictures to share.

I went there on my pram as my nasty jie jie didn't want to carry me.

Do I look pretty?

Can you recognise this girl? Hee..Hee..

Yeah...Thats Chilli. This is the first time she put on a dress. She looks pretty in dress dun she?

This is another of my neighbour. Her name is Monster. I wonder which part of her looks like a monster? According to her mummy, she is a destroyer and has destroyed countless items at home but she looks like an angel so never judge a book by its cover...err..rr.. or a dog by its look... Hee...Hee...

I mention that I saw an amazing dog on wheels during the dog show. Below are some pictures of him. His name is Will. He was rescued by a local dog rescue organisation ASD (Action for Singapore Dog). There was a speech given on that day to tell the public about the type of lives the stray dogs in Singapore are leading. Will was said to be found with his hind legs gone and he managed to survive on his own without his hind legs and big open wounds for 1 month before he was rescued. Now he is happily adopted by a dog lover who goes all out to help animals that are in critical condition.

You can read more about Will from here.

Looking at Will, dun you all feel that we are really lucky? There are many more stray dogs out there that are still struggling for survivor and facing the cruelty in life that is beyond our imagination. Please pray for them.

Luv,
Snowball

Both you and Chilli look so beautiful in your dresses!! Monster looks so funny being carried around by his human like that!!

I agree everyone at DWB is very lucky to have such loving homes and it is so sad to think about all those poor dogs out there who aren't as fortunate as us - our prayers are with them every night.

Will is so lucky to have a human love him that much. All humans should have that regard for animals. You are special for posting those pictures of him. I hope the speaker was well received.

Hi Snowball,
Are you sure that's Chilli? The same Chilli that I met at Pawtebello?? She looks like a bride.. and you look so pretty in your dress too!!
Yah mom had read Will's story on the ASD website before.. mom is a 'supporter' of ASD as she likes their 'no kill' policy. All dogs must be given a fair chance to live.

OH MY, That poor Will, I can't imagine all the pain he suffered, I am so glad he finally found humans who cared, loved, and helped him.

Mommy and I are crying and praying for all the other doggies out there who don't have loving families.
