I am back!!!

Hi Pals,

I AM BACK!!! Thank you for all the good thoughts and for thinking of me today. Boy! Am I glad to be back home again!

The first thing I did when I reach home was to have a big gulp of the refreshing water and to gobber down my breakie. Can you believe that they deprived me of food and water since 11 pm last night?

While I was at the clinic this morning, I keep begging jie jie to take me out of the clinic but she ignores my request and think that she should take a video of me looking all anxious and shivering in fear and trying to get out of the clinic.

She even put me in prison when I did nothing wrong at all!!!

The estimated time for me to go home told to jie jie was around 6-8pm so that I have time to recover from the GA and for observatiopn but I am already wide awake and yelping for attention when any one pass by at 2.30pm. So, the vet nurse called jie jie to pick me up early and jie jie was far away from the clinic running some errands. She came by the clinic to pick me up at 3.40pm. She made me stay in jail for an extra 1hour and 10mins!!! How could she? She promised to bring me home as soon as possible and I did my part by waking up as soon as I can (even the vet nurse was surprise at how fast I woke up. She told jie jie that I jump up wide awake very soon after the scaling was completed and she dun even have time to put on the Tshirt jie jie had brought along)

In the past, when I go under GA of any form, I will behave as thou I was drunk for at least 2 days and my vet knew about it so he gave me another jab today after the scaling to make the effect of GA go away faster. Isn't my vet great? Well, if he isn't I wouldn't have stick to him for the past 9 years! Jie jie says good things are meant to be shared so most of my doggie friends staying around my area goes to him too and they are all very happy with the service rendered so far.

Thanks again for all your support and well wishing. I am feeling tired and need to rest.

I wish everypup a good weekend.

To The Vet Tomorrow and Belated Barkday Pressie. Thank You, Yuki!

Yooo Hooo!!! I received a package today! Its seems like my Barkday celebration is not over yet. It has been extended for more than 2 months! Isn't it just pawsome?

These are the pressies Yuki and her mummy sent me.
I spotted my favoritest treats straight away! Can you tell which one is my favorite? Hee...
She also send me my first ever cuz toy. It can squeak really loud!
Thank you very much for the pressies, Yuki!
Yes. I am a little groomy today. You must be wondering what happen right?
My nasty jie jie has booked an appointment to send me for teeth scaling tomorrow. She said that my gum don't look too good and one of her friend's dog has very bad gum condition that leads on to other health issues and she didn't want me to end up being the same.

So, she brought me to my vet for a consultation and I had a pre-op blood panel test. My liver (ALP) reading is still high but not as high as before, this reading has always been high since I had my back injury 2 years ago, the vet said that this reading might be high when there is any inflammation he also think that my blood test reading don't really look too bad so there should be no problem to put me under GA for the scaling. He even say that I am overall healthier than before, that is definitely a good news.

After what happened to Lacy Lulu, jie jie is quite worried but my vet assured her that I will be safe. Please send all good thoughts my way. I will be able to come home tomorrow evening so I will post again when I am back. Keep thinking of me, ok? Thanks in advance.

New Look and Blood Test

I was groomed by my personal untrained groomer. All smart doggies here must have guessed who she is so I shan't mention the name. I hope I have not been disfigured by her unskillful hands.

Can you guess where I was? I have posted pictures with the same background a few posts ago.

As jie jie suddenly had the impulse to torture me, she didn't have time to book for an appointment so we end up having to wait for a long time. I keep asking her to get out of the clinic but she refused.

Before I had the time to plan the route to escape, my name was called. When we were in the consultation room, evil jie jie told that vet that I am still drinking more than usual (before the steroid jab) so much so that I will leak urine at night. (Yes, I leaked urine again!!!) Jie jie is worried about my kidneys but the vet told her that diabetes will have the same symptoms.

The vet touched me all over and she even pressed my tummy as evil jie jie told her that I don't poo daily. She told us that she didn't feel anything unusual. She agreed that I should have a comprehensive blood test to find out if there is anything terribly wrong with me.

Can you believe it? The vet I was seeing might just be the the same one that Jackson had seen. She is also a vampire. She took my blood with a syringe and needle instead of using her FANG. (Luckily she didn't. If not, I might have turned into a vampire too. Pawsonally, I think that it is an excuse that she took my blood for any test. She probably said that so that no one would suspect that she had drunk them herself. Don't you think so?)

So we went to the waiting area and waited some more.... and there I saw another shih tsu. She don't seems too happy to be there too. So , I asked her if she wanted to escape from that evil place with me.

We didn't get any chance to escape as jie jie and the shih tsu's parents were watching us really closely. We waited and waited and finally, the vet called my name again. She said she had the blood test result.

The good news is that my kidneys are fine. The bad news is that my ALP reading is super high. My reading is 2400 while normal reading should range from 20 - 150 and my ALT reading is also out of range too. My reading is 162 while normal reading should range from 10 - 118.

According to the vet, my super high ALP reading could be a result of the steroid jab I have taken. That also means that the effect of the steroid had not subsided but I had the jab more than 2 weeks ago. So, she suspected that my bile dart might be blocked and thus have some effect on my liver and causes my ALT reading to rise too.

I was prescribed with Ursofalk Capsules to take once a day and I have to take liver supplements, Simepar twice a day too. On top of these, I still have my glucosamine and antioxidants... Boy... thats a lot of pill/capsules for the little me.

The vet wanted to see me again for another blood test in 1 month time. (This vampire can never have enough blood, can she?) She also told jie jie to give me less meat... Darn... but how can food be tasty without meat? Don't she knows that we doggies are canniborous animal?

It was raining heavily when we left the clinic. Evil jie jie shut me in my carrier instead of letting my head out so that I could breath better. She say she didn't want me to get into the rain but she herself was walking in the rain without an umbrella to hail a cab. Serve her right for catching a cold after that...

This was what I have been doing most of the time after my blood was taken by the vampire. At least I wasn't panting anymore and is able to sleep soundly

Visit to the Vet Clinic.

I know I have been late in reporting about the bloggers war but there isn't anything much for me to keep track of. Is there anyway to make this more interesting?

On top of feeling bored reporting about the war, my lack of post is also due to jie jie as she refuse to let me use too much of her computer. This is because I am having some bad spells for my back.

To make things worse, when I was at the mall for my walk yesterday, I had a minor accident. Some clumsy school girl has stepped on the fur of my tail. Naturally, when I feel that, I tried to move away. In the process, a bunch of fur from my tail was pulled off and that has added strain to my back.

After I came back from the mall, I became very restless and I wasn't able to find a comfortable position to lay down, so, I stand for a few hours with my tail down. I wasn't able to tell if it was my back that is affecting me or was it an aftermath of the shock I had. jie jie gave me a dose of muscle relaxants hoping that I will feel better.

When it was bed time, I was not able to sleep I woke jie jie up many time to open the door for me to get in and out of the room by knocking at the door. At last, jie jie decided to give me a dose of pain killer as well, she usually don't give me that as she says she didn't want me to be too dependent on pain killers. After the medication, jie jie forced me to sleep on the bed with her and shine the infra red light on me, the light is supposed to help to relax aching muscles but I just hated the heat that the light gives. In order to make me more comfortable, jie jie switch on the air conditioning. After all the effort, I was able to sleep for 2 hours.

So, this morning, jie jie took me to the vet. You can see how nervous I was from the picture. I keep wanting to get out of the glass door but I do not have enough strength to push it open and jie jie won't help me open it.

The vet gave me a jab to help releif the pain and reduce inflammation. Jie jie asked for more muscle relaxant and pain killer pills to keep at home for emergency use. At the end of the consultation, jie jie wanted to open the door of the vet office to let me out but was stopped by the vet. He said that we will never know if there is any aggressive dogs outside that might attack me if I run straight into them in attempt to escape from the vet. He told jie jie to always carry me when I am getting out of the vet office and jie jie obliged and thanks him for his kind advice.

This is Nikko. We met for the first time. She was having eyes infection that is why she can't open her eye wide.

After we have gotten the medication and paid the bills, jie jie brought me to the pet shop next door and bought me a new treats. Have I told any of you that I take only fish treats? Anyway, this Salmon Snacks taste really good.

After the pet shop, we went to the Dog Bakery near by. There, I met 2 CKCS. This is apple. She was looking grouchy as her human was out and she is missing her.

Apple works at the dog bakery. She started to introduce the specialty they have for the day to me and they all sounds great. I decided to have a pie with choice lamb and vegetable stew.

Apple went to the kitchen to place the order for me. The CKCS at the oven is Brandy. He is another worker there. The Dog Bakery belongs to their human so conveniently, they have became the mascots there.

Apple was rewarded with a treat for taking the order. Look at the way she is enjoying it. It must have tasted very good.

I went into the room for an inspection. It was quite cosy with beds, lots of toys, and some water and food bowls.

I was scolded by jie jie. She said that I was being rude by entering the room when the owner of the room is not there.

I ask them if it is fun working at the bakery and what do they do when there is no customers. Brandy told me that if there is no customers, they will be taking naps behind the counter or perform their duty as a mascot and sit outside the counter and act cute.

Then, I asked them, is this how you perform your duty as a mascot? Do you think I am suitable to be the mascot here as well?

But jie jie says that due to my injury, I am not suitable to take up a job. By then, the pie was out of the oven and we left the bakery and went home. So going to the vet can be quite fun too, isn't it?
